As of July 1, 2009, POWER’s partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and regular outpatient services have been operating under one roof as POWER NewDay Outpatient Services. This newly consolidated program is located at our Hosanna House site in Wilkinsburg. Through the consolidation, we have had an opportunity to combine our resources, resulting in the ability to offer a full continuum of outpatient services in one location to women in and around Allegheny County. Women moving across increased or decreased levels of care are able to maintain familiarity with the program, as well as the program staff. Levels of care range from five to 25 hours of treatment per week, depending on a woman’s individual needs. To assist with accessibility, POWER provides transportation services for clients to and from three sites within the community.
