The Reintegration program works with women incarcerated in the Allegheny County Jail to help them identify barriers to successful recovery and re-entry to the community, and to develop a plan that addresses those barriers upon release.  Services begin with an intervention group where women learn about alcohol and other drug use and examine how it has affected their lives.  After they have participated in the group women can be referred to treatment.  When they are ready to leave jail, the Reintegration program provides case management, mentoring, and on-going recovery support to help women make a successful transition back into the community.
