Her shop, located at 673 Washington Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15228, is open Saturdays and Sundays by appointment only. Looking for a way to strengthen and support the local community, Riverside Design Group created Plates With Purpose™, a series of custom glass plates designed to raise awareness of the missions of its non-profit partners. Cassandra Ott designed three sunflower plates for POWER in the fall of 2009. The plates are sold on the Plates With Purpose™ web site and at Pittsburgh-based retailers including Square Café, Perlora, Contemporary Concepts, and Glassworks. Riverside Design Group donates 15% of the proceeds from the sale of sunflower plates to POWER. |
