POWER shall ensure the availability of preferential treatment to pregnant women. Priority is given to women as follows: (a) pregnant injection-drug users; (b) pregnant substance users; (c) injection-drug users; (d) overdose survivors; (e) veterans; and (f) all others.

POWER New Day Outpatient, conveniently located in Pittsburgh’s East End, offers flexible and individualized services that reflect women’s lives.

Licensed by Pennsylvania Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs – Division of Drug & Alcohol Program Licensure
Outpatient, intensive outpatient (IOP), and partial hospitalization treatment services
Smooth transition between levels of care
Psychiatric services
Transportation and childcare assistance available, including bus tickets
Creative programming, including expressive arts therapy, individual and group therapy, life skills education, relapse prevention, yoga, tai chi, mindful meditation, and special groups for women in transition following incarceration
Trauma services
Women receiving medication-assisted therapies welcome
